Magic Diary reads your handwriting on your device. When you ask the diary a question, the recognized text of that question — together with your recent questions and answers from the current session (so the diary can keep the thread of the conversation) and a random device identifier used for abuse prevention — is sent to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API to compose the diary's reply. Conversation context lives only in your device's memory for the current session; our server does not store it. Questions are not linked to your identity, not used for advertising, and not sold. Server logs are retained for at most 30 days for abuse prevention.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details.
